Our Story
I'm Adam, founder of Extract Labs.
I'm 25 years old and based in Brisbane. Every product you see from Extract Labs is blended by hand from my home studio — from the fragrance oils to the beard oils, hair serums, and skin oils.
The Idea Started After a Trip to Morocco
While I was there, I saw how deeply oils were part of everyday life. Argan oil especially was used for everything — hair care, skin care, grooming, fragrance, and self-care rituals. It wasn't treated like a trend. It was a lifestyle.
That stuck with me.
When I came back to Australia, I realised almost nobody here was approaching grooming and fragrance that way. Most products were alcohol-based, filled with unnecessary ingredients, or focused more on branding than quality.
So I started experimenting myself.
I began blending oils by hand using argan and jojoba as the foundation — creating products that not only smelled elite, but also nourished the skin, beard, and hair at the same time.
What started as personal blends quickly turned into something bigger.

Most of our products sit between $15–25 a bottle, and because they're oil-based, a little goes a long way — one bottle can last for months.
Bigger Than Just Oils
Extract Labs is about self-care, confidence, and creating products that feel personal. Whether someone is walking into a barbershop, heading to work, going to the gym, or getting ready for Friday prayers I want them to feel fresh, confident, and remembered.
This brand was built from curiosity, culture, and experimentation and every bottle still carries that same hands-on approach today.
